I'm 53, 5'8", 140lbs. Same size/weight as when I was 17. I'm a true (or perhaps "extreme") "hard gainer". I eat like a horse to keep at this weight. Wouldn't mind a little more meat on my bones frankly

I'll join in now that I'm officially part of the over 50 crowd. . .6'3" and change, 175 lbs +/-. My one and only ride so far after a 25 year hiatus from cycling was about 14 miles in just over 50 minutes. It felt good to be back in the saddle!

54.5, 6' 2", ~218 lbs. Slow -- Upper 16.x avg on a 30 mile flat calm ride is excellent for me. My bike fully loaded sans me is about 24 lbs (Tricross). Better than I used to be, but nothing near where I need to be. Quite possibly where I'll be for a while at least, though.

62 years old, 5'9", 140 lbs. I've always been skinny, scrawny, emaciated, whatever you want to call it. Been riding since early 2012, averaging about 100 mi/week. Last Sunday did a 60 mile ride with 4000' of elevation gain in a bit less than 4 hours, stops included. That was a good ride for me.

I'll be 69 this year, 5' 10 3/4" (used to be 5'11") and weigh 193, headed to 185. My more or less flat course is 45 miles and I average 18 or so. My most ridden hill route is about 32 miles with 1700 feet of climbing and I average about 15 on that route.
When my arthritic knees act up, my averages go to 16 on flats and 14 on the hills. I did about 6k last year, will do the same this year if the knees hold up.

56, 5'-10", 173 lbs.
Until the heat hit, I was nudging 18 mph averages commuting home on my long loop. I can't sustain that for more than an hour. I have to back off for longer rides and have typically been a couple of tenths either side of 16 on this year's 50-70 mile rides, depending on hilliness.
My average for all rides so far this year, which includes all those snowy commutes through the winter, and all those trips back from the grocery store with full panniers, is 15.53

Age=52. Height=5' 11.5" or about 181cm. Weight=141lb as of this moment, or 64kg.
I have no speedometer, but I have been getting faster. I can tell because I'm slowly using littler sprockets of my cassette for accelerating from a stoplight, riding level comfortably at a 70-90 cadence, and climbing, than I did even a few months ago.

65, 5'-11" 235 lbs. (I was nearly 300 in the early 90's)
I'm still rehabbing a broken tib & fib from last Oct.
I'd been having a lot of trouble with my foot & ankle swelling from the elastic on my sox & lacing up the shoe, so my miles weren't nearly anything to brag about.
A week ago I got SANDALS! (haven't worn sox since)
Did 40 last Wed & needed 3 recovery days. Did 30 Sun & Tue.
Plan to do about 10? (maybe more??) today, since the calves are actually a bit tight today. (that's good, because it means I was pushing harder than normal, which is usually limited by my emphysema)
Hope to do 40+ tomorrow.
Plan to do a 50.2 to set a personal best before the end of the month.
Having delusions of actually riding my age! Need to do the 50 first before I even consider that though.
All my rides are multiple shorter trips with about a 10 mile max per leg, and more typically 6-7 miles.
It's pretty flat where I live. Probably average about 13-14 for the first hour and decreases after that, down to 11 ish.

I'm 62, 5'8", female, and my weight is none of your business but I could stand to at least 50 lbs....maybe 100...
I regularly mountain bike and last hard ride I did was Saturday - 18.5 miles, 3200' of climbing. took 3.5 hrs. Slow, slow, slow but at least I can get this fat old body up the hills!
I don't record speed and time anymore when I road ride - I just get out and go. Generally adding in any stops (I never recorded just rolling time), total time usually runs around 12 mph. Obviously I can go much faster on flats (15 - 18mph) and downhills, but climbing hills, although I can do them, slows down my time. It's not usually for me to crawl up a hill at 3 - 4 mph.

55...5'9"..220 pounds.
Never owned a road bike till 14 months ago. Had not been on bike for 40 years. Now own a couple of road bikes.
Flat rides have gone up steadily, especially in last month to 15-15.5 MPH for 20-25 miles
My first charity 50 mile ride ever with 2200 Ft of elevation was 13.8 MPH in early June.
Average 84 miles a week. I'm hooked.

A few months past mile marker 54, 6'1", 235-240. Car-free commuter, ride a MTB (my low back/joints won't take a rigid frame, tried...); my personal best for mileage is 52 on a 'joyride' a little less than 2 years ago. I have multiple commute routes, HATE getting 'in a rut'; they range from 2 to 9 miles each way, and I can mix/match as I choose. Anything up to just over 5 miles, I can average 15mph. Over 10 miles, that drops to about 11.

There's also a little of "you ain't from 'round here and get off MY road" non-politeness. Luckily, very few of them.

52, 5'8" and even my husband doesn't know my weight :-)
average speed? Road - Well, I accidentally reset the computer to a different wheel size and never bothered to figure out how to reset it, so it says my average is 16.6 and my max speed was 56.9, which I kind of like so I just might keep it like that.
mtb - middle speed pack w/good technical skillz.

50 (and 5 months), 6'1", 225ish (down from around 290). I never will be fast at anything but distance running gives me a good sense of pace and endurance. I did notice I was doing over 20 on a flat stretch of my commute today which made me feel good.

I just turned 67, weigh 170 lbs. and stand 5'-9". This thread makes me feel a little better about myself. I still work 40+ hours a week so I am lucky to get in 1-2 rides a week. A long ride for me is 10-15 miles and on a 1-2% grade bike path my normal average speed is 10.5-12 MPH. I ride for pleasure, stress relief, and cardio. If I am lucky I pass 1-2 other bikers when I ride and I get passed by a lot of others. I'm sure my speed would increase if I got to ride more but I leave home 5:30 am and get home from work around 4:30-5. I have 1-2 meetings a week that prevent much riding during the week.

I'm noticing a few others shrinking in height. As am I, was once just a bit under 6'1", am now just shy of 6'. Drives me crazy when I have my yearly physical as 190 lbs is fine if you're 6'1, but when you're 5'11 and change, you're overweight. I'm the same guy, just a bit compressed as that concrete floor at work is really catching up to me.
For now, I'm just shy of 6', weigh 187 for now (will be up to 195 in winter). I ride alone and am slow. No bike computer but somewhere around 14-15 mph here in northern NY where the hills are prominent. Went for my century ride last week which I do yearly on, or close to, my birthday. This year I choose a flat route hugging Lake Champlain which made it so much easier. Did the 105 miles in 6.5-7 hrs of ride time. Was real happy with that. Years past I would do centuries that had me spent in Lake Placid or around, and then needing to get the 40 miles home. Flat is good!!
Oh, Just turned 60.
