That's right. Festina wouldn't let him wear the nasho jersey in Europe. Reckoned it wasn't prestigious enough. |

Wilson, Trent, he of the 100 metre breakaway in the Giro that lasts for 3 kilometres and only serves to ruin the paceline. |
Time to go and play. Coming Climbo? ;)

Jock I rang about that raceline frame, long gone.
I can get one of those pretty cheap. Have a long list for e-bay together now, should come out about even. Even if it's not the perfect size, it will help me see where to head any way. Cheers, Aaron. |
alchemy lists a 62cm track frame on their website, might be worth a look.

I'd like to declare my support for Torah Bright, Aussie snowboard chick in the Winter Olympics. Anyone else on board with that? :D (pun not intended) |

 How long do ya reckon some of these duds would last in the cycling, hockey or swim teams? 'Oh deary me, it's such a joy to be here at the opening ceremony. This is what it is all about. Not results. The Australian tax payer should get down on their hands and knees in gratitude that they have to support me in my endeavours to just be here' BARF. SPEW. Rant over. |

athletics bores the crap out of me, I don't even take an interest in it, swimming isn't much better and we have to put up with that constantly too.

Very pretty young Mormon girl.....so the beautiful, clean-living Aussie angle is a sponsor's wet dream.. Family moved to Salt Lake in 2004, I think. Currently the "face" of Roxy wimmin's surf brand, has an X-Box game named after her. Her career is being very carefully stage managed in the lead up to the Olympics....journos are being told you can take as many pix as you want, but she won't be doing any interviews or answering ad hoc questions. Sign of the times we live in, I guess. If she wins gold, we may only hear about what it was like through "approved" channels....read: glossy mags, Today Tonight puff piece, etc etc. |

Geebus. I came to ask some dumb questions but my brain has just emptied. Must... stop... looking....
Ack, I'm back. Now where was we. Oh my bike. Got it serviced at the shop before the Alpine. Done 200km since then. Now I find the steering is binding up when you turn it very far off center. The thing is only 15 months old so the bearings can't be worn out. You think they might have done something at the shop? Secondly, when I pedal the thing makes a clackety clackety sound, like tiny maraccas. Doesn;t mappen when I coast. Happens in all gears and either sitting or standing, although I do notice it most going slow up hills, I guess because there's less wind noise. It's not the gears cause I've had a play. Thought it might be the bottom bracket or cranks but there doesn't seem to be any play down there and it's still spinning smooth. So any of you mechanics have a clue what's going on? Wouldn't mind some some angles to go to the bike shop with when I accuse them of farking my bike and making them fix it for free. |
