make your own lube. I did it originally as a tight wad penny pinching effort but now i genuinely think it is the best lube i've ever used.

i'll take a pic tomorrow of what the chain looks like after today's ride. I didn't clean it after sat n sunday rides. I just wiped and relubed and then rode today but didn't wipe. You'll see how clean it is and it was so quiet.

Bikes: Have two wheels
So, does eveyone really "fall a couple of times" when they first start using clipless pedals? I've read several threads in which posters are telling some newbie that they MUST have clipless pedals and then admonishes them that "of course, you'll fall down a couple of times" -- real great sales pitch there.
I don't consider myself to be especially graceful, but I haven't fallen over because I forgot to unclip. Even back in the days of toe straps, I could manage to put my foot down. Of course, I have hit the deck for other reasons, but.....

Well, now I've probably jinxed myself. Better make sure my helmet straps are tight before my next ride, since I'll probably be on the ground by the end of the driveway.

2nd day doing the same little loop 8.43 miles on the backup bike with the aerobars. tweaked the position a bit
Finally figured out the garmin connect thing. Now you can all judge me appropriately.
1st ride:
https://connect.garmin.com/activity/38543595
2nd ride:
https://connect.garmin.com/activity/38543593
0.5 mph faster...position tweak or the 20 bpm higher HR. I will let you experts decide.
Can't figure out why my older files don't have all the info on them... even just as far as last week.

the $10,000 Cervelo? Or the normal one you could have had and even potentially sold to me and made $50 off of?

I rode less than two miles today. I honestly think that I have not ridden that little for over a year. Even when there was two feet of snow, I enjoyed my mountain bike outside.

This thread has degenerated into Pcad's Fredapalooza.

Oh, by the way. That Adobe:Flash vs. Apple:HTML 5 war?
It's over.
If you recall (and I do realize half you idiots weren't born yet)it was largely the porno industry's adoption of VHS that killed Betamax. The world runs on porno. Particularly the web, and now the mobile web.
