Giving credit where credit is due. Mara Abbott is about to win the women's Giro.
Anybody know where she's from?
Exactly.

The difference between the 33 and the 41 is that we know we're idiots. They suffer from the rather preposterous delusion that they are not. These the guys that drive hundreds of miles and then pay money to ride their bicycle for an hour or two.
The irony is somewhat overwhelming. But I am easily overwhelmed.

I just dropped the sbxx hammer on the old and weak while on the SS. Total and absolute carnage. How embarrassing for them.

Now it's time to rotisserie a chicken on the Weber, in case anyone was interested.
I fault that dude above with the chicken in his avatar.

Race was great, can't wait to sign up for the next one. Solo break at the beginning because I felt like it for whatever reason, ended with a solid pack finish (25/30
)
I feel like had I not killed myself attacking I would have placed better, but it was fine. No one would let me back into the pack so I had issues there. Met up with mike afterwards too which was cool.
Average includes my post-race lap which was slower.

I like the suicide mission kid. Nice job finishing with the pack after that. In the higher Cats (even 4), you can mark the guys that attack and go with them, and maybe wind up in the break. Hell, even I was able to do that once in a while when I wasn't so old, fat and slow. Actually if I was willing to race with the 4's I might still be able to give that a whirl. Eff that action. I've had it with racing. The competent guys are too fast for me, and the ones that aren't crash too much.
