Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I named my cyclo-computer pcad, because every time I look at it it's like there's somebody yelling at me that I'm slow.

Yah, the long breakaway was awesome. Kind of disappointing that we never got to see the peleton try to chase him down though. Fabian probably at least stays in yellow if his teammates (and everyone else) didn't crash. That's a big what if though, obviously. Good to see the QuickStep guys take all the jerseys in their home country.

I believe pretty much everything stayed as it was except Chavanel got the yellow. Chased or not he deserved it.

Oh wow, I have an offer to trade my Trek y-33 for NIB 7800 shifters. I'll definitely do it, hope it goes through.

It was hot as schlitz out there. At one point, the computer registered 111.5 on the blacktop.

What's a family sized bong?

I went swamp cooler. Three vents - one in the master, guest BR, and the hallway. On days like today, temp inside doesn't get past 75, but you have to run it nonstop.

Swampy.

I do have the broken one too if you really want it. $40 - Makes a great conversation piece!
Well no thanks, also that's incredible that you are trying to sell me a broken helmet.

That reminds me, I've actually been using a mildly broken helmet for several months.

Yes. But I am too cheap to spend money on a new one, since now that I have gotten used to a good one, I want nothing less than an atmos.

$40 for a conversation piece? I don't think so.
