Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Read this from thebladder.com.....bloody funny.

Tennis star Lleyton Hewitt has told reporters that he is somehow coping with life, months after Kim Clijsters called off their engagement.

“Look, each day is a struggle,” he told thebladder.com. “But somehow, with regular and varied sex each day with up to nine super models, actresses, and other gorgeous female tennis fans, I’m getting through the pain.

“Sure, it still hurts. Only the other day, I was in the spa with five incredibly leggy and gorgeous top models when I found myself thinking: ‘Damn, Kim broke it off!’

“Luckily, one of the models chose that moment to open-mouth kiss me, pouring French champagne straight from her mouth to mine, while another assumed the position for me to eat pancakes and chocolate off her perfect bottom, so that took my mind off things.”

Lleyton also revealed that he is finding his post-engagement funk has been eased by having loads and loads of money.

“Look, that definitely helps,” he said. “Whenever I start to feel even vaguely dis-spirited, I go out and buy a Ferrari, or maybe a chandelier for one of my 15 houses, or I might even go crazy and buy up to three new games for my Playstation 2, and we all know how expensive they are.”

Hewitt admitted he wasn’t sure he would ever find another “Miss Right”.

“You can’t assume these things,” he said. “I mean, I’m young, reasonably tall, handsome, have great hair, am a famous tennis star, and I’m filthy rich. Is there a woman out there who would want me?

“All I can do is keep going through up to 10 babes a day to see if I come across the right one, pun intended.”

I love the bit about the "3 playstation games at once".....gold.

Does anyone remember the Sean Kelly cycling board game? I saw it in an issue of Winning magazine (when it was English and had the yellow border, before the seppos took over and wrecked it) and desperately wanted it in about 1988.......

Wasn't it "Post the best rider other than Lance" or some crap?? I thought I'd come up with an obscure Aussie professional to send the seppos into a spin.....it was gonna be him or one of the following:

Michael Wilson
Eddie Salas
Jeff Stewart
Stephen Fairless
Kenrick Tucker

Grrr. Just spent $150+ going to the doctor and going to the X-ray joint, and getting taken care of an X-ray chick so hopless I think I had enough radiation pumped into my stones the make the next 5 generations of my progeny sterile, just to be told it looks like nothing's wrong. NOTHINGS FOOKIN WRONG**********!!! For that much money it would want to be smashed to bits. Makes me feel like taking a hammer to it, just to make that money spent worth while.

Good to see you're taking the news well. And Ed, do you have to blame us for everything? Isn't there something Australia was happy to get from the US?

Ok, I'll apologize for Burger King, Taco Bell, (shudder) KFC, Krispy Kreme, and all that. But we got stuck with Russell Crowe, Nicole Kidman (not even an Aussie) and had Delta Goodrem foisted on us. And Jacko? Yikes. Crap. How about Cannondale? Hmm. Ok, I'm beginning to see your point. I'll slink away quietly now.

My daughter says that if you want to be pedantic, Jim Carey is Canadian. Brought to you by Hollywood though.

Have you heard about the "Hooters" airline service. Look it up online. Better yet, just to the beach. Plenty to look at there. And the wimmin here are less uptight about showing it too. Australia is a bit more liberal in the gambling and adult "escort" trade than the US.
