Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Hey Scoz. I'm 177 cm 5 9 or 5 10. I've got pretty long legs though (33 or 34 inches if I remember). The Roubaix seems fairly large (or stretched out) for it's size, so I got a 54, because the stretch was to big for me on a 56.

Bike is still going beautifully. No problems at all (except for tires going wonky). I'm a very happy camper.

Justlooking at things like jerseys and such. Thinking of getting a Gerolsteiner jersey for a bit of colour (cause they ride Specialized ) and noticed they had one for $120. Also looking at getting some sun glasses because I'm sick of riding around in my $400 fashionable pair.

Where's your favourite joint that sells online?

Hey, if anyone wants some red Michelin Prorace tires for $40 or less odd dollars give me a PM. After SomeGurl posted pictures of red tires on her Roubaix, I feel like going another colour (they only arived today).

So here I am working from home, with three little nippers going berserk and the guy on the radio reminding me of just how bad the trip to Sydney is today.
No luck munchie...

Hot tip, listen to the radio before you leave.. I had an extra hour in bed!

Bikes: Thylacines...only Thylacines.

Greetings fellas from Monash University's School of Art and Design! I'm currently here working on a top secret bike related research thingie, which basically involves a lot of typing, a lot of daydreaming, and staring at a computer screen for 7 hours.

I gotta get me one of these high speed connections! This thing flies!
Tomorrow I think I'll ride the roadie in though. Public transport sucks bums. 45mins to go 8kms? *shakes head*

It once took me 1 hr 40 min to get to La Trobe via pubic transport (had to go in to the city, then out to Bundoora), but it normally took me 50 to 55 mins on me bike, with a tail wind!! And my best by car was 40mins!!

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!

You guys are spending a bit too much time on road bike talk. You all ok?

To get up to speed:
No BMX tandem, therefore no tail whips.
No Dirtworks Classic, for reasons mentioned previously, as well as the fact that they seem to be my business enemy. They refuse to sell to us, which forces us to sell the same items they do, but at 1/2 price.
A Ti track bike just sounds silly. We all know Tiger's at Monash perfecting his upcoming creation - DBB tubing (double butted bamboo)
If I've skipped any topics, you'll all let me know straight away.
