First, how is this not a sticky thread already?
Second, yes, I have too much time on my hands.

I love the picture gallery threads, and I'm amazed at how rarely they're duplicated. I compiled the following list for easy access. Let me know what I've missed and I'll update it.

This is great, thank you!

Woah. Easy access for killing time at work. Thanks!

You listed "Austria" under countries, but omitted "Capo" under brands. :)

Is there a Capo picture thread? The closest I can find is this: http://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...tell-capo.html

I just added 4 pictures (top two are mine, lower two belong to others) to my posting. We'll see if anyone else jumps in.

Sweet! Now we just need to find more people who have one.

Is there a magic incantation I need to say to have this considered for a sticky? Am I in the minority in thinking it would be nice to have it so?

Drillium Dude 08-13-16 04:15 PM

Damn, how many hours did you spend on this?! Hats off to you - subscribed and bookmarked :)

Thanks a ton, Andy!

Excellent work, and I would definitely call it sticky worthy.

Excellent, thanks for doing this.

willydstyle 08-13-16 10:32 PM

Can I put in a vote of support for stickerying this?

I try not to think about it. I had a document that I was updating over the course of a week or so trying out different search strategies. Most of these show up in the first five pages though. They're very active topics.

Andy_K 10-18-16 02:03 PM

I just added the Superbe thread. I remembered seeing one once, and today when I consulted my master list to find it I saw that it wasn't there.

Are there any other component-specific picture threads? Surely someone has started a thread for Campy NR components, right? Huret Jubilee?

johnnyace 05-05-17 06:02 AM

Andy, I was unaware of this thread also, thanks for doing this! :thumb:

kcblair 05-05-17 06:19 AM

Nice work, this is great. Ciocc ?? KB

Kobe 05-05-17 06:59 AM

Definitely this should be a sticky. It's like an index of for all of the best threads.

bear_a_bug 05-07-17 02:55 PM

Had to get to page 3 to find this today. Another vote for sticky-hood!

vonfilm 05-07-17 10:23 PM

This should be a sticky and right at the top. Let us keep it bumped up to the top until that time comes.

tricky 05-07-17 10:30 PM

Whoa, nicely done. I keep meaning to put together a restoration technique thread (paint, chrome, resources, etc) but you actually followed through on your idea. :)

Thanks for doing this, it's really useful. I also vote for a sticky.

There isn't much there yet, but I started a Cilo thread yesterday that can be added: http://www.bikeforums.net/classic-vi...tage-cilo.html

Lascauxcaveman 05-07-17 11:22 PM

:thumb: great idea for a stickie :thumb:

Add this thread under the category (by color: orange)

It's kind of odd that the color threads are the main ones that have been duplicated. I guess it's harder to search for "orange" and get useful results.
