Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Yeah, very funny Jock. Like I could do any damage amongst that lot. Did I see your name in the CCCC teams?

You did indeed. But don't be expecting any miracles. This year is a building year.

The 5+ team has been hard at it, trialling all sorts of configurations and scenarios. The 234 team, on the other hand, hasn't completed a single full distance run. In theory we can hold gold medal pace, but when you apply a liberal dose of reality we won't stand a chance.

Next year we'll try to organise riders at the start of the season and put a bit more effort in. Brave words I guess.

Sounds good! He was trying to get me on the Kona Unit SS he's got in there
Pretty cheap compared to what I have been looking at.

Well all the luck to you mate, though my loyalties you understand, have to be with the Waratahs.

Yes I heard Scarfey has had 2 from 4 (flatting twice) on a GTR1 After almost having to be beat up to ride the thing, he now recons it's a great bit of gear. Guess I can't blame the wheels now can I?

Na it's Dale getting the FG Lite Bianchi not Brad, and only till his new C_dale arrives which will religate the Italian mount to a trainer. In any event the GT has done the job so now I gotta get me finger out.

not a bad price, no disc brakes, but could be converted to discs easy enough.

"Team asks, "Where do the batteries go?"" teehee.

Pshaw, have you seen the pink ("Spam") 221s and JOFs?

*edit* Oooh, you know what would be cool? A Spam 221 with silver to hot pink flames, with a purple outline!
