lol. Yeah, it's just a bit bizzare. The things shifting well, right through the range. You'd think that if it was far enough out for the deraileur to hit the spokes then it would be shifting like crap somewhere. Gah, I can see myself quickly making his bike unrideable. Maybe I'll leave it to the bike shop after all. Thanks anyway.

tightening is always safer than loosening....but I s'pose you don't
wanna risk sending the derailleur into the wheel of your buddy's new bike.

The match sprints probably aren't for me anyway but they sound like fun. Were they running 2 man heats? Should be back at them next week.
How's your riding plans looking next week, I might be up for a ride from Gossy down towards work Tues morning. Do some hills and grab the train at Berowra or somewhere to the city afterwards.

No set time, HR zones, or anything. Just get out there and do it. So an early morning ride sounds good. Unfortunately I now have to do race sims on Wed and intervals on Thu, so I'm screwed there.

I got my Jan programme and on Tuesdays it has just one word: "Hills".

There's a blue tongue lizard in my yard that's about as big as my dog. He's taken to hiding in my bike shed and scaring the ***** outta me.

I used to keep them as pets as a young bloke. I think it's actually illegal.

I have only two grades: flat and fark a hill!
Kariong Hill is a modest 10 min climb. From Somersby you have a looong downhill, so a fixie is not recommended
and freewheeling would suck big time. The climb from Mooney Creek to Calga is long and grinding followed by another long descent. After that you have Pie in the Sky which is a 4km climb (5km to the very top) at a steady incline. From there you're pretty much in Cowan. Fast undulations all the way to North Sydney. It's a hoot in the traffic, with speeds rarely dropping below 50kph from Waroongah to Gordon if you get the right sequence of lights.
Oh yeah, the roads are pretty rough so leave your Cannondale at home.

And no, I haven't a clue who you am yet! I've seen you from about 30m in fading light at the track, and with your falcon on the train this morning. I would've sed gday but
- I couldn't remember what bikes you rode
- you got on at Woy Woy instead of Gossy
- you weren't wearing your NZ gear

I try to avoid embarressing myself if i can help it.
